pH

Our bodies are mostly made up of water, which is very useful in allowing nutrients, oxygen and biochemical's to be transported throughout the entire body to specific locations. This liquid based medium can have either acid or alkaline properties which are measured by a scale called pH (for "potential hydrogen").

  • 1.0 to 6.9 is considered acidic
  • 7.0 is neutral
  • 7.1 to 14.0 is alkaline

The lower the pH number, the greater the acidity, and the higher the pH number, the greater the alkalinity.

pH Scale

•         pH 8.0 = 6,000,000,000 Acid Ions

•         pH 7.0 = 60,000,000,000 Acid Ions

•         pH 6.0 = 600,000,000,000 Acid Ions

•         pH 5.0 = 6,000,000,000,000 Acid Ions

•         0.1 Decrease in pH = 100% Increase Acidity

Causes of Acidity

•         EXCESS DIETARY PROTIEN

•         XENOBIOTIC REACTIONS (the residue left behind from medicine breakdown)

•         MICROBE REACTIONS (bacteria, parasites, fungas, protezoa, etc.)

•         EATING LATE (stomach at its weak point)

•         KIDNEY DYSFUNCTION

•         LUNG DYSFUNCTION (shallow breathers, 70% acid waste)

•         ELM (electromagnetic – (microwaves, TVs, computers, cars, cell phones)

•         POOR R & R (rest and relaxation)

•         LOW AEROBICS

•         OVER EXERCISING

•         STRESS REACTIONS

•         POOR DIET SELECTIONS (refined carbs, sugar foods, soft drinks, etc.)

•         POOR EXCRETIONS (this is a cell function, nutrients can't get in metabolic waste builds up)

Why We Get Sick

•         Acid urine pH leads to acid extra cellular fluid

•         Acid extra cellular fluid leads to alkaline Blood

•         Alkaline blood leads to blood Sludge – low oxygen to cells

•         Low oxygen to cells leads to a higher potential for degeneration & cancer

Signs / Symptoms / Conditions

  • Hands stiff and sore when you make a fist first thing in the morning.
  • Do you seem to loosen up as the day goes along?
  • Don’t sleep well or restless.
  • Go to bed tired and wake up tired?
  • Urine has a strong smell, especially ammonia.
  • Osteoporosis
  • Weak immune system
  • Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Weight gain
  • Anemia
  • Joint pain

Saliva pH & transit Time

Acid Saliva pH = a faster transit time, hyper function, inflammation

Alkaline saliva pH = a slower transit time, hypo function, toxicity

Two major types of Acidosis (reactive and metabolic)

REACTIVE ACIDOSIS – minor situation – possible causes:

      •         Poor Diet

•         Eating Too Fast

•         Eating Too Late (stomach is at its weakest at 7 pm / strongest at 7 am)

•         Food Allergies (these are your IgG foods that are delayed reactions)

•         Too Little Exercise

•         Stress

•         Over Eating

•         Medicine

•         Sugar ( average American consumes around 200lbs. a year now)

•         EMF (electromagnetic - powerlines, cell phones, microwaves, geopathic stress, etc.)

METABOLIC ACIDOSIS - more serious problem – possible causes - includes all the above over a long period of time, which leads to the following:

•         Low HCL (hydro chloric acid) Production

•         Low Enzyme Production

•         Heavy Oxidation Stress

•         Microbe proliferation (bacteria, fungus, parasites, amebas, etc.)

•         Adrenal Stress or Fatigue

•         Heavy Metal Load

•         Prolonged Stress

•         Dysbiosis Of The Gut (leaky gut)
